Hi there! I'm Denise, the hands and heart behind Beads n Chain Co. After years of working a desk job, I discovered bead jewelry as a creative outlet — and fell completely in love. What started as a hobby at my kitchen table has blossomed into something I'm truly proud of.

I remember the first bracelet I made for my daughter — she wore it every single day until the elastic finally gave out (we've upgraded our materials since then!). Seeing the joy a simple handmade piece can bring is what keeps me stringing beads late into the evening.

Now, as a retired grandmother, I get to spend my days doing what I love most — creating beautiful jewelry for wonderful people like you. Every piece that leaves my studio carries a little bit of my heart with it.

The Craft Process

Every piece begins with inspiration — a color palette, a natural stone that catches my eye, or a customer's vision for something special. I source beads and materials from trusted suppliers around the world, always prioritizing quality and uniqueness.

From there, I lay out the design, carefully selecting each bead for color, shape, and size. The stringing process is meditative — threading each bead one by one, checking the pattern, adjusting until it's just right. A single bracelet can take an hour or more; a complex necklace might take an entire afternoon.

Before any piece goes into its pouch, I wear-test it, check every crimp and clasp, and make sure it meets my standard. If it's not something I'd proudly give to my own family, it doesn't leave my studio.
