Ordering
How do I place an order?
Simply browse our shop, add your favorite pieces to your cart, and proceed to checkout. We accept all major credit cards through our secure payment processor, Stripe.
Can I cancel or change my order?
Since each piece is handmade and we begin preparing orders quickly, please contact us as soon as possible if you need to make a change. We'll do our best to accommodate your request before it ships.
Do you offer gift wrapping?
Yes! You can add a gift message during checkout. Every order is packaged with care in a beautiful gift-ready pouch — perfect for giving.
Do you offer discount codes?
We do! Sign up for our newsletter at the bottom of any page and you'll receive a 10% off code for your first order. We also run seasonal promotions — follow us to stay in the loop.
Shipping
How much does shipping cost?
We offer a flat-rate shipping of $12.99 on all orders within the United States, regardless of order size.
How long does shipping take?
Orders are processed within 1-2 business days. Once shipped, delivery typically takes 3-5 business days via USPS. You'll receive a tracking number by email once your order ships.
Do you ship internationally?
At this time, we only ship within the United States. We hope to offer international shipping in the future — subscribe to our newsletter to be the first to know!
Can I track my order?
Absolutely! Once your order ships, you'll receive a confirmation email with a USPS tracking number so you can follow your package every step of the way.
Returns & Exchanges
What is your return policy?
We offer a 14-day return policy. Items must be unworn, in their original condition, and returned in the original packaging. Please see our full Shipping & Returns Policy for details.
How do I start a return or exchange?
Contact us within 14 days of receiving your order with your order number and reason for the return. We'll guide you through the process and provide a return address.
What if my item arrives damaged?
We're so sorry if that happens! Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the damage, and we'll make it right — either with a replacement or a full refund.
Custom Orders
Can I order a custom piece?
Absolutely! Custom orders are one of our favorite things. Head to our Custom Orders page to tell us about your dream piece, and Denise will work with you to bring it to life.
How long does a custom order take?
Most custom pieces take 2-3 weeks from approval to completion, depending on complexity and materials needed. We'll give you an estimated timeline when we discuss your design.
How is custom pricing determined?
Custom pricing is based on the materials, complexity, and time required. After we discuss your design, we'll provide a quote for your approval before we begin crafting. There's no obligation until you say "yes!"
Can I see a design before it's made?
Yes! For custom orders, we'll share material options and design concepts with you before we start. We want to make sure you love it before any beads are strung.
Jewelry Care
How should I store my beaded jewelry?
Store your jewelry in a cool, dry place — ideally in the pouch it came in or a soft-lined jewelry box. Keep pieces separated to prevent tangling and scratching. Avoid storing in direct sunlight or humid areas like bathrooms.
How do I clean my jewelry?
Gently wipe your jewelry with a soft, dry cloth after wearing. For a deeper clean, use a slightly damp cloth with mild soap, then pat dry immediately. Never soak beaded jewelry or use harsh chemical cleaners.
What should I avoid while wearing beaded jewelry?
To keep your pieces looking beautiful:
- Remove jewelry before showering, swimming, or exercising
- Apply perfume, lotion, and hairspray before putting on your jewelry
- Avoid pulling or tugging on delicate beadwork
- Take off jewelry before sleeping to prevent stretching or breakage
Can you repair a broken piece?
In many cases, yes! Contact us with a photo of the damage and we'll let you know if a repair is possible. We want your jewelry to last as long as your love for it.

Who makes the jewelry?
Every single piece is handmade by Denise, the founder and artist behind Beads n Chain Co. Each creation gets her personal attention and care — there's no factory, no assembly line, just genuine craftsmanship.
What materials do you use?
We use a wide variety of quality materials including natural gemstones, glass beads, seed beads, freshwater pearls, crystal beads, and durable findings. Each product listing includes the specific materials used.
Are your products hypoallergenic?
We use nickel-free findings whenever possible. If you have specific metal sensitivities, let us know when placing a custom order and we can select materials that work for you.
